Our white wood consists mainly of lodgepole, spruce, and pine. Generally, white wood burns more cleanly and is easier to ignite.

Dark wood consits predominatly of western larch and douglas fir. Typically the dark wood has a higher overall BTU content and will burn longer and more slowly than the white wood.
